Stephanie is a board certified Diplomat of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology through the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She has over a decade of experience and earned her Masters of Science from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in NY where her training included rotations at the Pacific College Acupuncture Center, Grand Meridian Clinic at the Kamwo Herbal Pharmacy in Chinatown, and at Housing Works Community Healthcare Center in the West Village.
In her practice Stephanie is passionate about providing the best care by establishing meaningful and collaborative relationships with her patients so they can make informed decisions and be active participants in their wellness. Operating from Washington Connecticut in Litchfield County, Stephanie works with her patients to form individualized treatment plans that include acupuncture, moxabustion, cupping, herbal medicine, and nutritional advice.
Treating across a wide variety of needs and issues, she has a focus on women’s health and fertility, stress and pain management, digestive issues, facial rejuvenation, and overall wellness.
ACUPUNCTURE
Acupuncture is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practice that originated thousands of years ago. Acupuncture helps to treat and prevent illness by improving the overall functioning of the body’s immune system.
HERBAL MEDICINE
Chinese herbs are prescribed to address a specific diagnosis. The herbs work by guiding the body back to equilibrium, thus encouraging the body to heal itself.
PRENATAL, POSTNATAL, & FERTILITY
Acupuncture is effective in both prenatal and postnatal support as it relieves tension, helps prevent premature labor, and even promotes labor when the time comes. Once you have your baby, acupuncture is a wonderful treatment for helping improve sleep, regulating hormones, increasing milk production, promoting healing, and reducing the postpartum depression many women experience.
FACIAL ACUPUNCTURE
This cosmetic treatment is an extension of traditional acupuncture. It’s said to naturally help make the skin look younger, smoother, and all-around healthier. And unlike injection procedures, facial acupuncture addresses not only signs of aging, but also the skin’s overall health.
